Holiday Greetinks!!
Some seasonal bits for your enjoyment:
Gag cartoon from Fleischer's Animated News Dec 1935 - drawn by animator Hal Seeger.
There's some great (uncredited) animation by George Germanetti in this one. Do you know what happened to him after 1963 (his last credit was on "Drum Up A Tenant"). What is the answer to the question in the previous post?
Germanetti went into TV animation like the rest of his colleagues and ended up on the west coast.
Jim Tyer drew the puppets model and drew (a combination of original and reused model sheet poses) the main models sheets of Popeye and Bluto for 1943. I have not seen one for Olive yet and I'm assuming one exists somewhere or existed at one time.
Attention Collectors and Owners of Fleischer and Famous Studio Art
If you have a piece of Fleischer or Famous Studios production art that comes from an unknown title and needs identification - contact me. I have Identified pieces in the past for animation historian Jerry Beck, Leslie Cabarga (The Fleischer Story book), miscellaneous dealers, collectors, and readers of this blog. The only thing I ask for in return is a high quality scan of the art.

I just noticed there's a Popeye toy and a pre-Code Betty Boop toy Popeye's bag...
